Painting the visit of the Morgan to Charlestown Navy Yard

Its been a whirl-wind summer – and I’ve been a little slow to share. Here are the photos from July 18. 19 and 20, when I painted the whaler, Charles W. Morgan as she visited the Charlestown Navy Yard/ the Boston National Historical Park.

5 painters were privileged to paint at this event – many thanks to the National Park Service for welcoming us to this wonderful painting opportunity. Everyone we meet at the Navy Yard was so positive and helpful, it was truly a unique and fun experience.
