2nd Weekend

Again, we worked on 2 days on the pose – focusing on precise color mixing. When I felt that anymore would not help the painting, I finished the day with this quick work on carton painting with a knife. Mixing that brown was painful.

During the week, I completed two homework assignments: 1. 40-STROKE PAINTING – a Self-portrait and 2. SELF-PORTRAIT OR PORTRAIT OF SOMEONE ELSE using only the knife to paint.
These are both about 9×12 on carton – a brown sized cardstock.
