Day 4 – painting with George in Concord

While driving out to Concord this am,  construction delayed my arrival and I was given more to time enjoy Tom Ashbrook’s On Point program on NPR about the wonders, importance and financing of our national parks – how  totally fitting and you can hear it too. No mention of going to the parks to paint but perhaps they mentioned that in the history of the parks.

Showers in the am and late afternoon, but we got our painting time in mid-day. The photo is a bit overly red. Its a beech tree in summer not a maple in autumn. I’ll try  photographing this 16 x20 canvas again later.
