Thursday night value studies

Quick value studies in Catherine’s class, working on a traditional cardstock,  Judsons Cartón Board.  These cards are 6×8. Great color and very nice feel – it’s resin coated.  I packed only the minimum paints; not using color on the grapefruit set on a copper plate was painful – the reflecting colors were just so scrumptious, no wonder I moved on directly to the skull!

I’m planning to do most of my class work on paper in honor of the recession 😉 and appreciating its compact quality that allows more to be stored in less space.
