A values-based education

It is autumn, time for all good remedial painting students to return to the inspirational classroom of Catherine Kehoe where we start the term with a meager palette of ultramarine blue, raw umber and white, all the better to develop our observational skills. Some value study homework.

    Those are both lovely. I like the minimalism of color — it’s very evocative. If that makes sense…

    is it raw umber and ultramarine for the warm / cool contrast?
