This looks great. It seems like you’ve really turned a corner this summer in seeing the whole. Was it done in one session? What does the title mean? I’m looking forward to seeing it in person. Nice job!

Thanks you! I’ve been very happy about the landscapes this summer. This painting was almost completed in one session with the detail (the verticals, etc) of the fence added on a second day. The first evening the light just didn’t last quite long enough. Fortunately I was able to get back to it while the river paint was still wet. This section of the river is where I sometimes eat lunch and there are far too few benches. I was surprised that it mostly remained vacant while painting the scene – it seemed people were overlooking it.

I’ve got one other painting that I’d like to complete before my show. but that will require a windless bright day – if you have any pull with the weather gods, I’d appreciate the help 🙂
