Second visit to the footbridge

A 10 inch square canvas, from the Harvard Footbridge on the last Tuesday of August. Not as breezy as the previous week and it took me longer to settle down and get to painting, (bad idea? facing into the setting sun- much better? have the sun to ones back so the glow at the horizon is from downtown Boston.) The end result has some charms.

Carol, Your art is absolutely beautiful, rich colors, I love where you are painting, Charles River, Harvard, all so beautiful. I hope you are exhibiting and selling some of your amazing work, I had not idea how talented you are! Keep painting! Marcia 🙂

Marcia – thank you – I see paintings waiting to happen everywhere I look around here. The only tricky part is the short season – I don’t paint from photos – and I’m much too much of a wimp to last into winter – although depending on the temperatures, sunny, non windy spot, I’ve lasted into November.
