More river, more heat – Exploring a new spot

On Soldiers Field Road just west of where it meets Memorial Drive is a great spot that I’m sure is packed on the weekend. This painting is 18 x 36 inches, on cotton canvas. I have finally found larger bristle brushes that I like –  Silver Brush Grand Prix. I’m using their 8 and 12 filberts, plus knife.

you’re working full time, blogging, and still painting — that’s success. the second photo helps a lot to see the true color.
