Sunday in the Park

The first outdoor painting of 2009 – first dead bugs in the paint.  Laraine and I met at Elm Bank in Wellesley. Results were good – it was definitely the first time out in a while and so different than the studio. Wow, it looks a bit like a tourist postcard – can the sky be any bluer and yes that is PthaloBlue that has made it onto my palette – I’ll see how long it remains on my palette after I finish the experiments that I’ve been doing with color.
