A better shot – last weeks finish

Not much to say, I think I’m bored with the painting.  It was a challenging set up – the background was close to the same value as the model’s skin tones; highlights and shadows created by the light above and differences in warmth are what we had to work with. So getting the background to recede was a challenge. The instructor is such a sadist. A new painting was started on Saturday – lacked the phone/camera so check back in a week.
