Broadmoor – a Sunday Refuge

broadmoor0809Time to catch up here. Broadmoor in South Natick, MA is a Audubon Wildlife Sanctuary. Laraine and I walked and sought a spot, putting in miles of muscle building hiking, carrying all our gear to select a spot that, with the rapidly sinking sun, was about to vanish. A good Sunday afternoon, 11/9, a good time, my painting kept changing – streaking the shadows through it. We did a lot of talking about selecting a spot – I think I do better revisiting the same place. Broadmoor is lovely, but first visits can be overwhelming and unfocused.
