Back to class

This is from the 3rd week of 4 for this pose and it is progressing while my phone photography is not. My concerns? – getting the right side of the canvas to recede, keeping the figure separate from the background and getting more paint on the canvas, with more conviction?  I am more successful than in the past with the model standing out from the background. Of course, that would be a whole lot easier with a, say, simple dark background but where’s the challenge in that?
