The sun comes out, even at dawn

Inspired by Harold and Andrea, and still with the limited palette (above) I actually see the sun rise . . .

sometimes painting pre-coffee is not an altogether good idea. The panel below landed on the palette and both landed in the gravel.  So much for two hours – on to the next canvas.

    Nice light in the painting.

    Carol! I love them all.

I bought 6 tubes of watercolor recently – inspired by a photo Bert took in Arizona – so I am impressed with your limited palette pieces. So far I have one that I haven’t thrown in the trash yet. I’m using Ellen Fountain’s website for help with technique.
I am trying not to be discouraged by your incredible work. Will we be seeing you soon?

Just keep working on them! and the trash basket is my friend. No visit this summer – already things are busy for fall at work.
