Thursday at Art New England

Another soggy morning, dried off through the afternoon and then the sun actually emerge at about 4:30!  I thought I heard a bit Of Hayden’s Messiah amid the bird calls.

I did have the opportunity to complete Wednesday’s painting and create a new one. I tried one composition that included a puddle, but way too ambitious for the waterlogged. I decided on a more subtle take on landscape. By the way – I have still not cracked open a tube of green paint – certainly part of my lessons include getting the most out of my colors, exploring all the possibilities.
