Day 1 of a Painting a Day – Rear View 1

Day One – I thought keep it simple – paint what’s in front of me. This canvas is 8 inches square.

The colors are in reality more subtle but I wanted to post this and not obsess with Photoshop.

    I like the view of the building, it is very Boston and something I see every day. Day 3 cranberries is crisp, but I also like the gray brown background of the day 2 cranberries even if it is not as crisp a painting.
